As we scale Omnea, we believe the way we structure our engineering organisation is critical to building a category-defining product.

Our goal is simple: a world-class team building a world-class platform.

At our current stage (Series B), our engineering organisation is intentionally designed to balance speed, ownership, and technical excellence.

👥 Lean leadership & player-coaches

We keep management layers intentionally lean.

Engineering leaders at Omnea are “player-coaches” — deeply involved in the systems, problems, and teams they lead. Leadership is not tied to title; everyone is expected to act like an owner, take initiative, and contribute to the direction of the product and technology.

Feedback, mentorship, and guidance are important, but we also expect engineers to self-direct their growth and impact.

🧠 Talent density

We believe small teams of exceptional people outperform larger teams with lower hiring bars.

This means we maintain a high bar for hiring and performance, even if it slows our growth in the short term. Maintaining a high talent density helps us move faster, maintain higher quality, and create an environment where great engineers can do their best work.

🚀 Autonomous, cross-functional teams

Our engineering teams are designed to operate as autonomous, cross-functional units.

Each team works closely with product and design partners to take ownership of problems end-to-end — from idea through to production and iteration.

Engineers at Omnea don’t just write code. They:
